We finally have a breakthrough!!

Aby finally cut her first tooth!! She hasn't been extra fussy or anything which I find unusual, she never ran a fever or had an ear infection either. I guess I just got lucky...so far!! I can only feel one tooth in her mouth but I don't think the one next to it is too far behind. Hopefully they all come in at once now and I don't have to have a fuss butt for a child for much longer!! I love her so much more when she is a nice baby!! :)

I got to see Britney Spears in concert!!

Ok, I know this sounds cheesy but anyone who knows me knows that I love Britney Spears. Don't ask me why, I always have and I still do. I am not all crazy obsessed. I don't have her posters up all over the place and I don't have a shrine set up. I just like her and I think she got a bad break there for awhile. Anywho, Amber and I went to her concert and we had so much fun. She put on the best stage performance and I was entertained throughout the entire show. There was so much going on it was hard to see everything. Here are a few pictures from the concert.

The Easter Bunny came to our house this year!!

So this year we had a little bit of a broken up Easter...what I mean to say is it wasn't our usual Easter. Usually we all get up and go to church and then go to Marie Calendar's for brunch. This year that didn't happen. With Aby being grouchy with what I assume is teething and Tracee and Bryce having to hit a few different places, we did thing s a little different. My dad came over early and hung out until everyone else got there. My mom went to church and got to our house about noon and shortly after, Tracee, her boyfriend and Bryce showed up. I hide the Easter eggs before they showed up so he wouldn't cheat and see where I put them. Here are a few shots of him hunting for eggs.



Tracee, her b/f and Bryce hung out for a little while and then they took off to her b/f's family's house. Jeff, myself, my mom and my dad stayed here and hung out and we actually BBQ'd steak and lobster for Easter dinner. It was so yummy!!

Updates in Progress!!

It has been about a month since I have updated this blog and I apologize. Who knew life could be so hectic with a teething baby? I assure you that I have uploaded all of the new pictures to the computer and will be updating you as much as possible.

Ok, I am gonna get on with the updating!

Aby's a model...or at least she thinks she is!

Apparently when we purchased Aby's hospital pictures it included a free 8x10 portrait that a photographer will come take in your home of your baby. They come in and set up a little studio and take the pictures right there. I know that this whole thing is a big scam to get you to spend a whole crap load of money on these pictures so they take multiple poses and you are supposed to choose just one picture for the free 8x10...yeah right.

So they kept calling trying to schedule an appointment to come over and I thought if I blew them of enough times or gave them enough excuses that they would stop calling...but they never did. So finally at 6 months old, they came out, took the pictures, got charged a crap load of money for some pictures...but the one thing I gotta say is that they are some darn cute pictures!!!

Obviously these are not all of them but this gives you a general idea of how the pictures turned out.

Bryce the photographer

Every time Bryce comes over he likes to play with my camera...he just snaps lots and lots of very random pictures. Most of the pictures consist of peoples knees or butts...that is right about at his height. Ever since Bryce discovered that he can take his his own picture by turning the camera around he loves to attempt that also. Here are some of Bryce's masterpieces...

I almost forgot...in his quest to locate my camera while we were all outside and Tracee was in my bedroom putting Aby to sleep for me...Bryce snuck away and look what I caught him doing...

...then he figured out that he couldn't get out of the darn thing on his own and had to ask me to help him out.

Evan is 6 years old

Sorry it has been a while since I have updated everyone...Aby has been so fussy and clingy. I think those teeth might finally cut through...or at least I am hoping they will.

Anyways, March 13th our nephew Evan turned 6. Jeff, Aby and I attended his birthday party at Air Jump Kids here in Corona and it sure looked like the kids were having a lot of fun. It's times like this that I wish I were a child again. Here are a few pictures of the party...

I only was able to get pictures of the kids playing and not the opening of the presents because we had to get Aby home for a nap. She was getting cranky and we all know that no one likes a cranky baby!!

We have a cookie monster on our hands!!

Earlier today, Aby and I ran some errands and at Target I picked up some "Biter Biscuits" for her. I wanted to give her on right when we got home to see what she would do with it but she really needed to go down for a nap. Jeff called about 5:30pm and said that work had just sent him from the shop in Commerce to a job out in Pasadena and that he wouldn't be home anytime soon. Aby woke up from her nap shortly after Jeff called and she was a little cranky because she was hungry. I decided to give her one of the cookies while I got her dinner ready and this is what happened....

Hmmmm.....tasting it for the first time!!!

I think she liked it because she shoved the entire thing in her mouth....

As promised...Cowgirl Aby!!

About two weeks ago I decided that Aby and I would get out of the house for the day so we went to hang out with my friend Nichol and her kids for a bit. After that, we went over to my cousins, Jesse and Vicki's house to hang with them. Vicki watches her grandson Jayden on Fridays so we decided the kids could play together. A little while after we walked in we put Aby in Jay's horse jumper. She loved it!! She went nuts in that thing. I had put her in the johnny jumper that hangs in the door (which she also loves) but the doorways in my house kind of leaves her in awkward places. This horse jumper allows me to take her anywhere!! Anyhow, Breonne (Jayden's mom) walked in a bit later and saw Aby in the jumper too!! She couldn't believe how much she loved it. After a while, I started packing up to go home and Vicki and Breonne offered to let Aby borrow the jumper since Jayden doesn't really use it that much. I took them up on that offer and they loaded it up in my trunk. I set it up right when we got home. It was late and Aby was already sleeping but this is what happened the next morning when I put her in it...

Case of the missing camera ... SOLVED!!!

Ok...so I never claimed to be the brightest, but I did find my camera!! Right after I posted the last blog I remembered!! Sunday afternoon dad came over and about three or so we decided we would BBQ up some burgers. While we were outside BBQing there was this huge moth on the window so I grabbed the camera to take a picture of it...why, I have no clue but I did. Jeff needed help with the BBQ so I set the camera down on the hose reel next to the BBQ...low and behold, there it still sat today!!

Am I really having senior moments already??

The case of the missing camera!!

So...over the weekend, I took some video of Aby in her horse jumper and then Tracee came over to hang out and I took a few pictures of her and Aby!! I set the camera down on the little table next to our recliner!! A few hours later I looked at the video and the pictures that were on the camera and set it back down...or at least I think I did. The camera has dissappeared. I don't remember if I was cleaning and I put it away and now I can't find it or if it grew legs itself and walked away. Hmmmm

Anyhow, my blog was supposed to be about how funny Aby is in that jumper and I was gonna post a video for you all to watch and enjoy...but the camera is gone!! If I find it I will post the video...if not, I guess I will have to get a new camera so that I can share Aby with all of you!!

Trying something new!!

Hey everyone...I have decided to try something new to keep everyone updated on what is going on with our family. This way I can keep everyone up on what Aby is keeping us busy with without drowning everyone in e-mails (not that I do now...lol).
